Before Your Event
Here are some steps you should complete before your event. These steps might be the same for everyone in your Leadership Team, as an Adult Leader you will some have additional tasks.
Familiarize yourself with Fields of Faith.
Know the history and heart of this ministry. Ask God for a renewed passion for His word in your own life. People will follow passion...
Host regular planning meetings
These meetings should bring all of your Leadership Team together, give updates during the planning process and make sure tasks are getting accomplished. Make sure to delegate specific tasks on this page to individuals or groups.
Reserve a Field and Indoor Facility
Reserve a field and an indoor facility (preferably a school gym on the same campus). An FCA Huddle sponsor many times is the best person to make this request.
Plan Your Program
Use the list on the What to Expect page as a guide in planning your event. The message is the same, but programs can be different. Some rallies had students break into groups and pray together on the field as part of the program. One rally had multiple schools attend, so they took time to break up into schools on different parts of the field/stadium and allow the campus Christian organizations to introduce their leaders and inform the students when and where they met. Others simply gathered at the field, shared testimonies & prayed together. Choose...
- Impact Students
These middle school, high school or college students will be chosen by your leadership team. Youth leaders/Teachers/Coaches in your area will know who the leadership students are on campus. These are the students and athletes that command attention when they speak, especially from their peers. Many times these are athletes, but not always. Any student who has God's hand on him\her is who needs to speak. These students will complete a devotional study which will help them formulate what they will say at the event.
- A Single
Impact Adult
This adult will be someone who will be able to wrap up the evening and give an invitation to allow students to commit to a renewed fervor for God's word, and to become a Christian if they haven't made that decision before. Again, this person needs to walk with God and be able to communicate with teens. It might be a teacher, a coach, or businessman in the community. This person will also complete a message devotional to help keep the message coordinated.
Deliver the Manual
Either the Adult Leader or Youth Pastor should deliver the Impact Student & Adult Manual to each Impact Student and your Impact Adult. Then review the testimony material with each student and single impact adult. This will help answer any questions, provide a sounding board for the students as well as encouragement and guidance to achieve the goal of one message at every rally. Remember, this is not a platform to convince others of differing denominational doctrines, it is a simple, unifying message from students about how God/the Bible have changed their lives, a challenge to daily read the word of God and to accept Christ as personal Lord and Savior.

Invite/Partner with Churches
Invite all churches/ministries in the area to the rally. (Some rallies created a packet and had students hand-deliver it to all the churches with youth programs in the area).
Invite/Partner with Other Schools in the Area
Not every school needs to have it's own Field. By inviting/partnering with other schools you can unite your commuity, bring more people to one single Field and give you and your Team less work.
List Your Field Online
It's important that people in your community, as well as nationwide, know you're having a Fields of Faith event. Only list your Field once. An Adult Leader or Youth Pastor should be the one to list the Field as well.

Prepare For Follow-Up
Fields of Faith is not just about the event. It's important that we engage those who make commitments and enable them to grow with God. The message is simple, the follow-up is simple.
21.5 Days With God
Students or adults who have commited to reading the Bible on a daily basis should be given some direction. We suggest these tools:
- Announce the "21.5 Days With God" Bible Reading Plan
- During your Impact Adult's challenge to read the Bible daily, suggest the "21.5 Days With God" Plan.
- Hand out the "21.5 Days with God Pocket Gospel" or Reading Guide Cards
- You can give the Gospel to everyone on your Field. Click here to order the 21.5 Days with God pocket Gospel.
- If you can't purchase the pocket Gospel, you can download the Reading Guide Word template and use the Avery 8371 business card templates to print from your office or home printer. No need to cut, the Avery sheets come perforated! Download (.doc)
- Online Resources - The "21.5 Days with God" will include online references, questions and downloads. The page will be published the day after Fields of Faith.
Commitment Card
If you order the "21.5 Day with God" pocket Gospel every one includes a tear-off Commitment Card. We encourage you to purchase this resource and save time and money. At your Field, make sure you have boxes of pens and pencils and multiple people to distribute the cards. Collect the cards to tally information, enter your totals on FieldsofFaith.com and allow local churches to individually follow-up after the event if need be.
If you can't purchase the pocket Gospel, you can download a printable Commitment card.
- Print at Home
Download the 3" x 5" Word template, load your printer with 3" x 5" index cards and print them on your inkjet or laserjet printer.

Emphasize the need for all groups to order Fields of Faith shirts to create greater impact at school the day of the rally. The same shirt will be worn the same day by thousands on campuses across the country!
